How to Play
This is classic Klondike Solitaire, built for tapping instead of dragging. Tap a card to select it — it gets a highlighted border and lifts slightly — then tap where you want it to go. Tap the same card again to deselect it. In the tableau (the seven columns), you can stack a card onto another if it's one rank lower and the opposite color, for example a black 6 onto a red 7; a whole ordered run of cards can move together as long as that run itself alternates color and counts down correctly. Only a King, or a run starting with one, can be placed into an empty column. Above the tableau, the four foundation piles each build up one suit from Ace to King — tap the foundation area (or double-tap the card itself) to send an eligible card straight there. Tap the stock pile on the left to draw new cards into the waste pile next to it; once the stock is empty, tap it again to recycle the waste back into a new stock, in the same order, with no limit on how many times you can go through the deck. Moving a face-up card off a tableau column automatically flips the card underneath it face up. You win by getting all 52 cards onto the foundations. Undo has no move limit, so feel free to try something and take it back — and once every card in the tableau is face up, an "Auto Finish" button appears to play out the rest of the win for you.
Tips
- Draw 1 (the default) turns over cards one at a time and gives you a much higher chance of winning than Draw 3, which only lets you act on every third card in the waste pile before it recycles.
- Unstack face-down cards early: uncovering a hidden card in a long column is usually worth more than rushing a card to the foundation, since it opens up more future moves.
- Don't send cards to the foundation the instant they're eligible — a low card sitting in the tableau can still be useful for building alternating-color runs on top of it.
- If you get stuck, try Draw 3 for a faster-paced game once you've mastered Draw 1, or just Undo and try a different order of moves — there's no penalty for experimenting.
